ARLINGTON, TX (August 26, 2025) – United Sports & Entertainment will present the latest installment in its signature collection of collegiate sporting events this winter with Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase (@HoopHypeXL). The early-season neutral-site event will take place Sunday, December 7th, at College Park Center in Arlington, TX.

Hoop Hype XL The College Basketball Showcase will feature a highly anticipated in-state battle as the Texas A&M Aggies (SEC) take on the SMU Mustangs (ACC). With both programs boasting strong rosters and post-season aspirations, this matchup is expected to deliver high-level competition and an electric atmosphere for fans across the region.

The charitable component for Hoop Hype XL | College Basketball Showcase will be a community campaign that reaches far beyond the lines on the court. The Hoop Hype XL basketball platform strives to blur the lines between sport and service, inspiring the participating student-athletes to use their gifts to empower and improve the lives of those who are less-fortunate.

“Hoop Hype XL will provide college basketball programs with a true alternative to traditional neutral-site events,” United Sports & Entertainment  President Rhossi Carron says. “This event platform was designed for elite college teams to compete on a national stage while simultaneously helping their student-athletes understand their responsibility to impact the lives of others in a positive way. We are very excited about the opportunity to utilize the Hoop Hype XL basketball platform to impact the lives of children in the DFW Metroplex.”

Pre-sale tickets for Hoop Hype XL The College Basketball Showcase will be available to the participating universities Wednesday, August 27th, at 10:00 AM CST. Public on-sale will begin Friday, August 29th, at 10:00 AM CST. Tickets can be purchased online at AXS.com or in-person at the College Park Center box office.
